It's barely 6pm and I'm already curled up in my pjs and slippers with a mug of tea and a crappy TV show. (legend of the Seeker)
Woo hoo, this is how we roll :-)
What's everyone else up to tonight?
I'm thinking of going to the gym for a bit and then Target. Yay Target!
Pretty similar! We're going to World Market to stock up on groceries, then I'm cooking the boy and I some mushroom/asparagus/artichoke risotto for dinner. Yum.
(I guess it's going to be a late dinner, haha!)
Haha this is me tonight, too. Weddingbee, Facebook, and HGTV. And laundry. Oh, this is the life....*not.*
At work. We have dinner plans with another couple so hoping to get out reasonably soon...but not sure if will make it in time.
I am still in pj's that I slept in last night and a hoodie! =) I have intentions to actually get up and take a shower in a few minutes. I see that you are in KY Dragonsus...I am about 45 minutes west of Lexington. Did you watch the game??
the usual saturday night. a mix of different workout dvds, some yoga, hot chocolate, WB, Eve online (for the FI), cops, and saturday night live. I want to go to the gym but dont feel like getting out and about :D
getting psyched up for the move into our new house tomorrow! (not acutally moving just getting the keys and cleaning :D)
I'm watching Much Ado About Nothing, working on school work, critiquing a manuscript...but mostly thinking about dinner!
Right now i'm working on a memo for work (awful way to spend saturday night) but later I will bake brownies and then watch Inglourious Basterds with the FI. We are trying to watch all of the Oscar nominated movies before the big night. Actually, I'm the only one really into the Oscars, but he appreciates that it is like the superbowl for me, so he it was his idea that we watch all the movies so he knows who to "cheer for." Too cute.
my hubby works on Sat nights, so I'm sitting on the couch with my laptop and the tv.. pretty boring, but oh well..
Yup...we stay in alot nowadays..too cold to go out and we are trying to save $$$..so tonight consists of making dinner, drinking wine, playing Wii and maybe renting a movie!
Even though we're not getting married for a year and a half, me and Mr. BBQ are going registering! It's the one thing he's been looking forward to, and MOH/Sister BBQ tried to talk him out of it since it's so early!
@Dragonsus, They dominated. Up by around 20 points the entire game. I love that they win and that they can dominate like that, but it was not the most fun game to watch. So you really didn't miss that much! =)
Snowed in on the East Coast. Car is shoveled out, but in ice. So, staying in I guess. HHMMMM
FI is working late...kids are playing nicely...dogs are curled up with me and the Bees! Hopefully, I'll make it until Saturday Night Live!
I was supposed to have dinner with a bunch of girlfriends tonight, but most of them don't live in the city and don't want to drive in, so it's been canceled. :( So we're going to cook dinner and watch Up.
We rarely go out saturday nights because of Church in the morning. I have some soup in the CP which should be done around 7 or 730, then we plan on curling up with our soup and catching up on the Biggest Loser from this past Tuesday! Love it!
PJs, watching Run, Fat Boy, Run with my puppy blanket (aka my dog on my lap). Such an exciting Saturday night! But sadly my FI is out of town for another 2 weeks
Oh, I should add that the reason my friends don't want to drive into the city is because there are two feet of snow on the ground.
Sweats, TV, just had dinner. I'm going to settle on the couch with the new Real Simple that came in the mail today, work on our budget spreadsheet and maybe paint my nails. And I'm okay with that!! :)
I'm totally still in the sweats I put on this morning too! (Late night last night.) I've been out today but I haven't even brushed my hair...terrible!
We are staying on the couch all night and I am super excited about it. It's raining in San Diego AGAIN so perfect movie night. I'm just wondering if dinner could possibly magically appear because I'm not planning on cooking.
I have spent the day cleaning the house and FH helped a work friend move, so we are chillin' tonight - about to order in some pizza and wings, open a bottle of champagne (because we are weird like that - champagne goes with everything) and watch some PVR'd TV!
FI has to work some OT 11p.m.-5a.m. so I'm sitting home watching Everyone Loves Raymond in my pjs being lazy. I'm probably going to watch chick flicks after he goes to work.
drinkin' green tea with lemon that I just discovered and it's quite tasty, WB, laundry and some TV whoa what fun lol :)
I was at a conference in Orlando all week! So since I got back we've gone to lunch, watched Slumdog Millionaire (somehow I missed this when it was huge!) and are laying around...me searching wedding blogs, he playing some snowboard game on his laptop. I'm so exhausted that we're just staying in too! Getting pizza and some kind of adult beverage...then crashing early! Just much needed together, and vegging, time :)
snowed in and my fi's out of town, so it's been a lovely lazy day and night. just watched 'whip it," did a bunch of laundry, rearranged the furniture, dusted the whole apt, worked on the invitation wording...productive and quiet day and evening :)
i miss fi though :( don't know if he's going to be able to get back into town tomorrow with the snow...
My body is aching from washing walls - we have only been in our (newly built) house 6 months - but with a drooly newfoundland dog the walls pay the price - I still have to re-vacuum and mop tomorrow ... but we are taking the night off.
Tomorrow we are hitting the local bridal expo - most of the vendors are booked but we still need hair and makeup (and maybe a DOC) so hopefully we can tie up the last loose ends tomorrow!
hmm snowed in as well, well now it's not that bad anymore...watched tv all day, did some laundry, and might watch a movie with FI
not snowed in, but in this cold, i hate going out anywhere!
i'll be cooking some tempura batter jumbo shrimp for dinner and watching '500 day's of summer, while attempting to start my tissue paper pomanders!!!
Stuck at home sick with viral laryngitis not allowed to go to work or speak all weekend. The FI just left for boys' night (I told him to go) but made me homemade pocorn before he left so I'm going to curl up with Dexter season 3 and my popcorn
Yeah, we had "The worst snow ever and you will never leave your house" in DC, so not heading out. I don't think anything is actually open anyway.
@Tanya - HA! So True. I'm glad Calipari's earning his money but boy these games are hard to watch! I went to the Clarion game early in the season and the final score was 150-55! not exactly a riveting matchup!
Husband has returned from his outings, which killed my marathon of Legend of the seeker, now we're watching "Defiance" (Depressing WWII movie with Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber). definitely a change!
It's a rainy night so definitely a Saturday Night In for us. We went to Costco earlier and now it's time for dinner and a movie at home. :)
i love saturday night in, but i never feel quite right about it.
watching inglorious basterds after a 600pm dinner!
seriously, we are so lame.
@ Dragonsus, I watched that a few months ago and thought it was wonderful!! Have a great night!!
@ Tonya - if you watched the game and saw the national Anthem - that was me singing!
Have a great night!
@Dragonus, I haven't been able to get through more than a couple of minutes of Legend of the Seeker. Have you read the books it is based off of? It SOOOOO much better than the show! The books definitely have their faults, like Terry Goodkind always puts very lengthy summaries of obvious things and Richard gets a little preachy at times, but all in all, they are a great read!
<---UK fan. Grew up in Louisville and my fam was totally split - red vs blue :).
