-Pink house (my favorite!), if you eat here, be sure to walk around the entire house. It reminds me of how the White House is on the inside.

-Gryphon Tea Room, awesome place for lunch!

-River street shops and bars

-Forsyth Park

-Tybee Island

-Pirate house was a fun place to eat

Just don’t go to Wormsloe Plantation!! It’s so overrated and historically inaccurate! Take a picture at the entrance and leave….that’s the best part of the whole place lol

Tybee social club is a cool place too! They have good food and music and it’s near the beach 🙂

katydaisy:  I second The Olde Pink House recommendation. You might need to make reservations for it.

For a genuine southern meal at lunch, Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House. I believe they are still only open for lunch and it’s family style dining. There is usually a line and they don’t accept reservations. It’s worth it.

Another dining option I recommend for dinner is The River House on River Street. It overlooks River Street and the water. You’ll likely need reservations for there, as well.

A cool area to hang out at during the day or in the evening is the Savannah City Market, it’s right downtown. There’s a lot of different restaurants there, including Vinnie Van Go Go’s Pizza. It’s not a fancy establishment, pretty much a whole in the wall, but the pizza is awesome and cheap. It use to be you could get a huge slice for 2 bucks and it was cash only. They also have some nice horse and carriage rides that depart from that area.

Have fun!

Drive out to Bonaventure Cemetary and spend some time wandering around. It’s really scenic and right on the river.

They’re a little cheesy and touristy, but I’ve enjoyed the trolley tours and ghost tours in the past.

Another short trip is out to Tybee Island. You can go to the beach, but even if you don’t want to take a swimsuit, you can still walk along the pier and climb the lighthouse.
