I sent mine about 7 months before the wedding. We have a lot of out-of-state family and we wanted to make sure we gave them plenty of time to make travel arrangements and plan accordingly.

we are sending ours out 5 months before, but for out of towners we dropped a quick message so they knew ahead of time

We’ll be mailing ours out first thing in March.  My sister’s wedding is at the end of February, and we have ever so slightly different family guest lists.  FI and I decided it would be best if we didn’t give folks the opportunity to chit-chat about who received what.

I’m meeting with a stationary designer in a few days, and still working on the guest list, but I plan to send them out in early February.

I am going to try and get ours out before the end of January. Because our wedding is in peak season, is in a very popular area (wine region) which is known to book out accommodation quite early, and we also have a decent amount of interstate guests, we wanted to get them out as early as possible. I will admit though that I’ve been pretty lazy/complacent about this and they probably would have done already otherwise 😛
