Just wondering who do you address the Save the Date to on the envelope? Just the adults? But what about if the kids are invited too? I don’t want them to think that their children aren’t invited. Could I maybe put “Wife & Husband & family”? Or just stick with the adults, and they’ll know the kids are invitied when they get the invitation with the inner envelope?

@CanadianBride456: I did the kids’ names or “and Family”. With how pissy bees get here about people not understanding JUST the parents’ names = no kids invited, I wouldn’t risk it. Make it explicit that you’re inviting the whole family so they can plan ahead.

You can be a little less formal with your save the date invites, so I agree with lolot- put “Jones Family.” Let’s them know that they don’t need babysitters, or that it’s up to them if they want to make it a date night. Or is it’s just three people- “Wife, Hubby, Baby Jones”

i would address it to exactly who you are inviting.
as PP said, if my kid isn’t invited, i would want to know so i can begin make arrangements for them.
