I think you should look into smaller custom envelopes.  I’m sure some bees have recommendations as to where you could get them cheap.  Sorry I’m not help, we are doing post card save the dates 🙂

You can’t find anything closer to the size you need? What are the dimensions?

Would they fit in a postcard size envelope.  You have a letter size envelope in the picture which is too big.  I would go online and search for envelopes.

What if you attached the save the date to a piece of cardstock that would fit the envelope better? You could get repositionable tape so it’s not permanently glued on.  That way it wouldn’t flop around inside?

I agree with the cardstock idea, maybe in one of your colors. I am doing that and using glue dots so people can just pull them off the cardstock and use them (mine are magnets though)

Make your own envelopes! There are some templates out there to make envelopes that you could probably work and adjust for your needs. Also, as long as it’s within the size range that the postoffice will mail, you should be good to go! I would suggest just taking one into the post office to check the cost of postage before you mail them! Pm me if you’d like to know where you can find envelope templates.

know anyone with a cricut? they could custom cut envelopes.

Other than that, I think you should find a smaller envelope, just don’t make it custom. we once got a STD business card sized magnet in a 4 x 6″ envelope… how odd it seemed!
