I did a save the date video. I’m actually a professional video editor, so I wanted to add my own personal touch. You can view ours here: http://10-11-2009.blogspot.com/

A video sounds nice. I have a magnet on my fridge for a STD which has the couples picture on it. I don’t want the magnet anymore but I feel bad throwing it out. I’d go for something that won’t be a big deal to get rid of.

I’ve seen a few videos and they are so great! We considered doing like ticket stubs from a concert or game because wer’re originally from Green Bay ( Go Pack! ).

The problem with magnets is that new fridges arent always magnetic. Though I still love the idea of STD magnets and will probably go with them regardless.

I wish we could do something creative! We’re doing e-mails to save money.

We are also doing magnets so people can just stick it on the fridge as a reminder!

I want to order some vintage type postcards that will be reflective of the venue we choose and on the back using some of my new stamping/embossing talents i want to announce where when and the nitty gritty of it!

Found some amazing stamps today (for stamp work or embossing) with some cool travel symbols on it !  Want one that looks like a vintage stamp or something out of a passport and one of a well-drawn palm tree (if it’s a destination) or a peach if it’s here in GA !

Martha Stewart features a couple on her website that used pencils engraved with “Pencil it in! So and so are getting married…” and they are just about the cutest things I’ve ever seen! Or you could send  nautical knots that have a tag that say “so and so are tying the knot!”… I’m a sucker for puns, so these might not be any help at at! But I thought they were cute.
