I’m looking for save the date ecards for free, thinking of making my website on Weddingwire (because it has music). However, the KNOT allows me to do everything altogether… such a dilemma on such a small matter….
What are your recommendations / Thoughts?

My wedding website is on WeddingWire, never thought to do E-Save the Dates. Are all your family/friends up with technology?

We did email save the dates but we didn’t use any wedding websites to do it. What we did was just to create our image (a photo of the two of us with some text on top) and then pasted that into the body of an email.
We used photoshop to create the image with text and some effects but if you have a good pic you could put the text in the body of the email and just attach the photo. Super easy and very cheap! For those people who do not have email, like grandparents, we just called them to let them know the date.

We used Paperlesspost.com for our e-save the dates. It’s not quite free but very cheap (under $20 for 100). It looks gorgeous and was easy to use.

You girls are great!!! I’m so glad I joined wedding bee, blabbed my thoughts out, and there are other bees out there to help~
Yes, most of my guests are quite tech-savvy. I actually am quite pleased with wedding wire’s features… more impressed than the knot~~
@The Unsuspecting Bride:
YOu have inspired me to go back to basics and go through my pictures =) This adds a personal touch to the save the dates.
@MissBoston: Thanks for the tips! If my photoshop skills fails me at the end…. I will go that route. That price is pretty good, cheaper than I thought.
