Do you have a website? We put the date info on the Save the date itself with the web address. Then on the webpage we have a link for the hotel.
Honestly i dont have time to make a wedding website - and if i am being super honest my FI would kill me... not really a fan of the extensive wedding things (ie:website) and i am knee deep in DIY everything
so i wanted to include the info in the STD but seperately - creatively
i am crazy - i know !
thank you for the help though
how about on the back of the card or just as another insert....I think if it is just 2 cards it really isn't necessary for a ribbon. Do you wanna post a pic of your std - that might help us come up with some more creative...
I personally suggest you shouldn't squeeze too much info on the STD. STD is to let people know when you are getting married. You should say invitation to follow and when you do the acutal wedding invitation you could seperately print the hotel info. Here's an example of my STD card that I did for someone which is simple and straight forward:
I also would suggest including hotel info only in the formal invitation, not the save-the-date. If people really want to make hotel reservations early, they'll either call/email you to find out info or they will find a hotel on their own.
Fading flower - those are gorgeous! May I ask where you got the floral graphic and if I could use it? Please email me if you would be willing to share - my email is schuhwedding at yahoo dot com.
I agree with smartl. Hotel info should be on an insert with your formal invites.
We're doing STD and then formal invites to follow with all the info in those.
How in-advance do you send save-the-dates? we're getting married in 18 months time and i've no idea the ettique for them as there not something we tend to do in England. I want to do them though as I have alot of family in the US and some in Aus!

So i decided to make my own Save the Dates by GOCCO - def. a decision influenced by weddingbee inspiration
But anyway they are turning out awesome, one problem though is that on one side i have a design and the other side is information, which is getting rather long. I have decided to seperate our hotel info from the actual save the date card. Now this is where i need you help, where should i put the hotel info??? should i put the info on printed vellum in the envelope, or should i attach it to the card itself (maybe with a ribbon- in a particular shape?)
Sorry if i am confusing, just need to figure out a CREATIVE way to add my hotel info - in the STD but on seperate paper
Please any tips?
