I really want to send out save the date magnets, but looks like on Vistaprint I’ll be spending $135 on just 40 of them, I knew this was going to be more expensive than paper product, but not this much more?! I’m looking to spend $2-3 each, but now I’m wondering if that is even possible!!
Where did you get your save the date magnets?

I am not doing STD’s but have you tried http://www.magnetstreet.com/ ? They are constantly sending me e-mails about sales etc. Not sure how cheap they are because I have never looked into them. If not try searching google for other companies that may offer better deals.

SO what I have heard to do, because I am in the same boat, is that you wait for a sale at vistaprint (they often will run 50% off sales) and then also look for coupons on groupon. Just a few weeks ago I got two groupons for $15 on groupon and each groupon will give me $45 at vistaprint.

AH I was totally looking in the wrong section of Vistaprint! I have found much more affordable options now! *Crisis diverted!*

@dsanchez: Yes! I saw that groupon! Was planning on buying it!
I found a section on vista print for save the dates, that cost much less than the photomagnets that I was originally looking in!
It looks like I can get 40 magnets for about $40, plus with my vistaprint groupon, I’ll end up spending anywhere from $15-40 depending on how many save the dates I’ll need!

I spent a little more than $135 and I ordered 120 save the date magnets.
I used purpletrail.com

I ordered my STD magnets from vistaprint on 10/30/13, they were shipped 11/1/13, and I received them on Tuesday, November 4th. For 200 magnets, 200 white envelopes, and 280 address labels, my total was $48.97.
http://www.retailmenot.com/s/vistaprint?c=2746533 go here and click on the link or up to 50% off sale + free shippong on $50+
That link above is the one you should use for STD magnets at Vistaprint. I clicked on one to make sure that the price was 50% off and it is.
I used the blank template and uploaded my own photo that I added text to in Powerpoint.
Hopes this helps and you save money!! 🙂

Also, there is a way to use your groupon and still get the 50% off price, if it appears that it won’t let you! PM me if you can’t get it to use both of them!
