I got mine from magnetstreet.com.

They came out nice, and they were delivered quickly!  I think I spend like $130?

We used wedding-magnets.com and I can not say enough great things about them.  They photoshopped everything for us, gave us a number of choices, were super fast in their shipment and were just a delight to work with.

used magnetstreet.com too! I found a coupon for 25 or 30% off so just google magnetstreet.com coupon and you should find some! You can customize every design they have to match your colors. It was easy, fast shipping, and good value!

+1 for vistaprint. Our friends just used them for their Save-The-Date Cards and it came out pretty well. Just beware the bleed edges and minimum print resolutions (they’ve got templates to help you out with that though….and if you need to step up your photo/graphics editing capabilities, download GIMP–I haven’t tried, but it all looks like it’ll be compatible!)

As for discounts, check this page out; they’ve got a few good deals linked to the main VP page:

I just priced ours out using the 50% off link–will be $25 for 200 (!) small business card sized magnets and then $38 for oversized postcards to attach them to. (We’re sending ~150 Save-The-Date Cards, but the magnets only come as 100 or 200…no 150 grr…). Add envelopes, shipping, and going the 100% custom design route should put us in the neighborhood of $80 out the door.

Considering the printer we’ve got access to needs $20+ cartridges for both black + color ($40 and we’d prob run through 2 of each…), the cost of materials (prob another 30-40), I think the above is a pretty good deal for us. Though I think that that might be due to us being in the gray area of costing things! (ie we need to buy way more than we need because of min qtys and such)

Now if you only need 25-100, you may be better off exercising the option on the 25 freebies (+s/h and any customization fees). I didn’t bother calculating the break-even point, though.

Good luck! Smile

we used vista print and for the price they turned out pretty darn good!…..for 100  magnets it came to about 68$ with shipping

I ended up trimming them all because I didn’t like the white border, but you can make it so the print area covers the whole space if you follow the instructions on the site

here you can see them trimmed with rounded corners:

which I warn did take hours of my time to do, but it was worth the effort πŸ™‚

We got our STD Magnets from MagnetStreet as well.  They always have great coupons and I had heard good things about them.  I got ours 30% off with free shipping!

Ours turned out great!  And there were so many designs to choose from.  We decided not to put a picture of ourselves on it because at the time, we didn’t really have any good ones! πŸ˜‰

I love the quality of them too.  I had heard troublesome things about some other companies not using strong enough magnet – so they really wouldn’t hold anything up.  Or the front pealing off from the magnet….etc.  Ours are very sturdy and have good magnetic hold.  I also love the rounded corners and the substantial size (3.5x4inches).  All the magnets came with nice, fitted envelopes with silver trim inside too.
