Just finished making our save the date, but couldn’t find a spot to place our names without it looking awkard or squashed, so my question is this: Would it be weird just leaving out our names? People are supposed to know who we are, right? We are inviting less than 60 people, so it’s only nearest and dearest.
FYI, we are going to email out the invitations (please don’t hammer me about etiquette. we are both computer nerds, so it’s very “us”)
Here is the STD:

RoxiB4b3: i dont think it looks weird – are those your names on topmof the date? If so, it looks fine

First of all, I love your photo – it’s so beautiful!
Second, I do think it would be strange to have a save the date without names. Is there a spot on the back that you may be able to put a little bit more information?

Daizy914: Sorry, should have specified. That is “Save the date” in our language (afrikaans)

RoxiB4b3: I think that looks nice, just how it is. I think those are your names on it? Its nice to have names for the older or distant relatives who might not remember you as well!

You’ll be sending it from your email address which comes up with your name in that person’s inbox… so I think it’s great!

babeba: That’s what I was thinking. I was also thinking of adding our names at the bottom of the email. Something like “Love, MyName & HisName”
JiminyCricket: Thanks very much! That’s very sweet of you
LeonardLady: “Onthou ons Datum” is actually “Save the date” in our language. Thanks for the feedback

I love the picture, but think you need names on it somewhere. Loves Hisname and Hername would work great!

I think, especially since you’re emailing it out, that you don’t need to include your names on the actual picture – it looks beautiful!

RoxiB4b3: I don’t think you need your names with your picture. I think it’s pretty obvious who’s getting married! Love the picture BTW, super sweet!
