I think that's fine. Our save-the-dates didn't even have the town. At the bottom we put our wedding website which included any info they may need. Besides, we're close enough to all of our invitee's that we communicated with them either beforehand or shortly after that the wedding would be out of town for some of them.
I don't think it's necessary to put that on your Save the Date. If you think people might be uncertain of the general location of your wedding, then just putting southern Illinois should be good enough.
