Will these be the colors you use? Some of the words are hard to read on that dark blue background.
Well I want my wedding to be mostly blues and white with a little red thrown in. Should I do a light background do you think? Is it too busy?
Great start! I agree that the black words are a little hard to read... Maybe a lighter color? Like a light blue background or something instead of black?
Also, have you tried uploading the image to a place like vista print? Sometimes it can be really helpful to preview what the image will look like for your guests, even if you don't buy it through them... but I must say, I got 100 post cards for about $10 from there, including shipping, and didn't have to do the postcard part on the back. Either way, it looks like you're well on your way to super cool save the dates!
Can you try another shade of blue to replace the black? Or maybe you can change the font of the words on the top so that the darker words are easier to read. I like the concept a lot, especially the pop of red.
I also think it may be a little to dark to read. Maybe lighten the blue or the text?
Keeping your colors in mind, why don't you go for a white background and different color blue words with some red thrown in. It will most likely look a lot better when printed too!!
I like the style but it is a bit hard to read some of the words. Maybe have save the date and your names be more prominent?
Is the background appearing black to ya'll? It's supposed to be dark blue. I'll have to try a white or light blue background and see if it looks better.
SarahEm: Thanks for the suggestion about VistaPrint. I'll have to try that tomorrow.
KaterTot214: It is Wordle. I think I actually found it on a post on here a few months ago. I have been waiting for an excuse to use it!
Thanks for all the feedback so far. I'll upload a new version tomorrow and see what ya'll think.
i LOVE the light blue background, i would definitely go in that direction!
2nd version is sooooo much better, you can read the words better & it's not as busy.
Beautifully done!
I love the light blue background! It looks great! I love the font it looks very readable and cute!

So I've been thinking about doing Save the Dates like this for awhile. I want to use the picture attached and then I found these stickers you can attach to the back of the photo to turn it into a postcard. What do you think? This isn't the finished product so what do you think I can do to improve my design?
