Please help! I’m mailing out some casual save the date cards with just a picture of us in black and white, then some info below…they will be in an envelope, but i really don’t want to handwrite the names on front of the envelope. i definitely WILL for the invites though. do you think it’s tacky to print labels at home?

no, just print them in a nice font on clear labels, or if your printer can do it, print directly on the envelopes.

We printed directly on our envelopes, using the same font from our save-the-dates (which was a stylized but print rather than script font). To do both return and mailing addresses (on opposite sides of the envelope) took us about 4 hours for 80 envelopes, including stamping and stuffing, so not too bad. The envelopes ran through the printer very nicely.
