We bought the Groupon deal that was up a few months ago, and I can’t wait to use Vistaprint! I am also trying to save as much $ as possible, and my FI is always surprised at how much anything wedding-related costs. We’re planning to design our invites and such and upload on Vistaprint. So glad to hear it CAN be done! 🙂

It can be done, but it requires a good bit of work!

AprilinTX:  We also got a Groupon for Vistaprint. We were disappointed to learn that it couldn’t be combined with the other deep discount promotions they offer. Be sure to check to see which gives you the better deal! Good luck!

We had a friend who offered to design it for us, and we’ll be using PsPrint to print the invitation (5×7 flat) and the RSVP card. With the discount they have this month, we’ll be able to get both for about $70. We did use the vistaprint groupon to buy thank you cards and escort cards though. Both together cost us $25 total. i totally agree with you about cost of these things. People either throw them away or put them in a drawbar forever; I wasn’t too worried about making them super elegant!

ChicagoBride15:  Very cute! Great job!

Miss Crab:  Thanks for the tip! That’s good to know, since we plan to order everything there, including thank you cards/RSVP/inserts/whatever. I’ll keep that in mind – I’ve already been debating on whether to order invites or the other stuff with the Groupon, since we’re still so far out and the groupon has to be used before January.

Just used that groupon with vistaprint this morning. Paid 6.88 for shipping. Got  50 invites, envelopes, stickers. Paid $25 for the groupon.

I feel like we got a really good deal on our stationary.. we spent a total of $582.41 for everything.

This included : save the dates with featured lace, and an engraved wooden magnet w/ our names & date, invitations which included 2 inserts, rsvp card & envople, all postage, menus [dinner & signature drink], programs, advice cards, all signage & frames, escort frames & cards, supplies [such as printer, ink, labels, stamps, ribbon, chalkboard stickers, ect].

It also included my cost of wedding binder/pages.

I designed & printed everything myself, everything turned out great!

jenilynevette:  Was this all from Vista Print, I’m interested in those magnets 🙂

ETA: Just re-read and saw that you printed yourself.. In that case, how did you do the magnets?

OneDayMrsL:  No, none of it was from vistaprint, I made everything myself.

The magnets were from an etsy seller.
