Weddingbee boards

I'm not an expert in weddings but from what I have experienced so far, it seems to work.   For those of you who have not started looking, keep in mind these possible savings opportunities:

Cake -if you just want a simple cake, instead of "wedding cake", ask for "retirement cake"!  that will save some money.

Also, ask the bakery if they'll be willing to loan you a cake stand for free, negotiate! 

Venues - if you book with a hotel, or any venue, they will give you a minimum spending level for the amount of your guests.  Most hotels can expand in guest size -- so if you have 200 guests, tell them 150 when you sign the contract so you aren't stuck with a high minimum spending requirement.  Just make sure you can add more guests tho

Bridal stores dress- this is an important one girls - ALWAYS ALWAYS ask if they can give you a discount.  Most places have such high profit margin, they can give you a 10% discount.  It's not much but better than nothing.
