Why do they not TELL you what each dress is called? Honestly. lol

So I'm just watching the episode that is on at 6:30 tonight "One is not Enough" and there is a bride that chose a white sweetheart neck dress that had a lace overlay with polkadots. It was kind of a-line I think. Totally LOVE it. I looked on the website and they don't have it listed as a featured dress (don't even have the episode on the website... I think it is season 2 episode 13). Anyone know what this dress is????

I don't know, but it sounds like fiftyfootbride's. More details?

No although that is really cute! It was a full length white gown. Strapless with a sweetheart neck and some ruffled detail at the top. It was a-line I think... but I'm not 100% on what all those terms mean :) It had a train but it wasn't super long. It didn't have any pickups and it wasn't poofy at all (very little if any crioline i think). It just had a lace (or maybe tulle?) overlay that had tiny white polkadots. It was sooo pretty I just loved it!

Oh its way out of my price range! haha. I just wanted a pic of it because I have a file of inspiration dresses going. I'm a freak for polka dots :)

Me too!!! Trying to figure out some subtle ways to incorporate them into the wedding...

Btw, you should see if you can buy Dora from someone? Maybe they'll sell it used or let you borrow? That's what Wedding Bee is for!

I wore the Melissa Sweet Dora for my wedding! I don't plan on selling my gown but for a while I considered it and used to check out the competition on http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com/. There were quite a few Doras listed. It's a gorgeous dress.

Well my dress budget is like $500 so even used it is out of my price range :) Plus, I am a size 16 street and plus-sized dresses are few and far between it seems on the re-sale market. Although maybe by wedding time I'll drop a few sizes! heh

You could look at some of the Marisa dresses -- I know that line makes dresses that look very similar to some Melissa Sweet styles, like the Mila and the Lia.  Maybe a preowned Marisa is a way you can stay within your budget?
