Nobody?
It was so easy to get on the show, I just assumed a lot of other brides might have had the same experience.
I'm a Canadian girl, so Atlanta is a bit far for me to go, but I think it's awesome for you!! I watch the show alot, so make sure you let us know the air date!!
I think it will be a great experience for you. you family just has to ignore the camera's and they will be just fine.
Congrats!!
Just tell them after all the crazy relatives that have been on the show they have nothing to worry about! lol
that is super exciting. i have never had the chance to be on tv for something like that. i would say do it, its a once in a life time chance.
@Paigey: So fun! I love that show. It's a lot like SYTTDNYC, but with more "sugahs" and "honeys", haha! They have nothing to worry about if they a fraction of logic and sanity!!
@Paigey: That's hilarious, and cool! That show cracks me up - I love Monty and his accent. Let us know when it airs!
I filmed for Say Yes to the Dress last September for Season 3. I haven't been on there yet. They said I won't know if I'm going to be on until the week it airs.
Even if I am not on TV, it was a great experience. My family and friends loved it. I will send you a PM to let you know what to expect.
Just go in there and have fun!
Y'all, it was an absolutely fabulous day! I recommend the experience for everyone that has a chance to do it.
I took my mother, my grandmother, two of my sisters, my daughter, one of my sons and my fiance. Interviews were done with me, my mother, my daughter and my fiance. I think everyone liked us and seemed interested in our story, so I am really hoping we make that final cut.
And in case anyone is wondering, I did in fact, Say Yes to the Dress.
I am at work right now, but when I get home, I'll try to post some of the pictures of The One.
Congrats on finding your dress and to having an amazing experience: i may not love the show, but at least they treat the brides who go on well.
I'm going to try to post a few pictures. Not sure how it will turn out...
Once the dress comes in, I'm going to make some modifications to the top. I did not like the straps, so you can see they are have assed tucked in.

WOW, that dress is gorrrrrgeous! I'm jealous - I'd love to go on the Atlanta version of the show. Keep us updated if they decide to air your segment!!
Oh I love that show!!! And I LOVE your dress. You look beautiful, great choice!
Beautiful! Great choice! I'm glad you had such a good experience. I have been really impressed by the SYTTD Atlanta team. I was skeptical at first but after seeing how the staff are more interested in finding the right dress for the bride and less about the "sale" I was pleasantly surprised. I was one episode in particular where the groom had been diagnosed with ALS and they had to move the wedding up because of the nature of his illness. So sad! There was so much emotion when she finally found her dream dress and it was slightly out of her budget and the owner, Lori actually PAID for the whole thing! Not a discount, not a free veil, PAID for the whole dress! That blew me away!
I love your dress. I am glad your experience was wonderful. Let us know when your show airs. If I ever hear back from them, I will let you know.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
On a lark, I filled out the application to go on Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta and got an immediate reply and phone interview. I'm going to be filming my experience on February 28th.
Have any of you guys done this before for either show?
Can you tell me what happens when you arrive and how things proceed?
My sisters and mother are very worried about being on TV. Is there anything I can do to aleviate their camera fears?
