Does anyone have a cute/polite way to ask guests to not take cupcakes until after the meal has been served or the bride and groom have taken theirs? Also looking for a way to tell them not to take more than one until everyone’s had a chance for a first go around. Thanks In Advance

Maybe could you have the caterers or a family friend bring them out after the meal has been served? That way you wouldn’t have to say anything about it.

Unfortunately, this is a DIY wedding and the cupcakes will be set up and displayed until it’s time to eat them. I have found a saying about waiting-something about being yummy, hope you saved room in your tummy, please wait until the bride and groom….
But I’d like a polite way to say when you do take one, take one so there are enough for everyone. Come back for seconds later.

I would make a nice sign, saying something along the line of “Kindly wait to indulge until after the meal and cake cutting (if you’re doing that), and please take only one until all have been served.” Also, if you have little kids at your wedding, they may swipe some! Good luck.
