I’m so sorry that you’re going through this.

As a pet lover myself I can’t even imagine how hard this is for you. Our pets are our furry human friends and it’s never easy to say goobye. Sending prayers and hugs your way.

@MrsSWB:  ((((hugs)))) to you. I know the pain you’re going through and it never truly goes away…..you’ll just learn to live with it. Know that you are doing the right thing because I think you can see in her eyes that her spirit is not the same and that she’s telling you it’s time. You have given her a wonderful life that was full of love and for our pets, that’s all they ever want. I wish you strength on Friday.

So sorry to hear about your sweet kitty, but it sounds like she has had a long and full life and been a great companion to you. My thoughts are with you and your family.

My heart is breaking for you.

Know that you are doing the kindest, selfless and most loving thing a responsible pet owner can do.

Big Hugs, I know this is not easy.

I’m so sorry for what you have to go through. Daisy is beautiful. And it sounds like it is her time.

It’s wonderful that you get to hold her in your arms and have her pass peacefully.

@MrsSWB:  She is so beautiful, and I’m so sorry you have to make this heart wrenching decision. Pets can’t tell us what to do, but I do believe they show us. That look you see in her eyes says that the time is right for her to go 🙁 our cat did the same, she was so depressed that she just sat staring at the ground. We just knew. We couldn’t hang on to her when she was showing us it was time to let her go.

Sending you hugs. It is not an easy thing to do, but it’s the kindest thing you can do for her.

@MrsSWB:  That Belker story makes me tear up every time.

I’m so sorry for your loss – your cat looks exactly like my childhood cat (white, blue eyes, passed away at the grand old age of 21). She was skin and bones by the end too, practically blind and too arthritic to groom herself. Coincidentally, my two-year-old British Shorthair is named Daisy.

@MrsSWB:  I’m so sorry 🙁 Daisy is a beauty. I went through the same thing with my dog Kara last spring – suddenly, she couldn’t keep down any food, she was skin and bones and had very bad arthritis. She was 17. I knew by putting her to sleep we were actually helping her (and I think she felt it) but it still broke my heart.

It’s devastating to lose a pet and that story about the dog Belker you posted made me tear up. Just remember Daisy is going to a better place.
