Weddingbee boards

  So we don't get many new posts in our "local board" so I thought I'd start a new one. How is everything going? Anything new and exciting? What areas  in SC? Anyone interested in a meet up (=it's a big state I know but maybe if a few of us are near each other we could have mini meeting?

We just got engaged about three weeks ago, and plan on having the wedding on October 30th or 31st of 2010! We're looking at venues soon, and I have a place in mind in NC, but I dare'nt jinx it before I talk to the 'rents and visit it myself! ;D I am a very odd bride, however, so we've firmly decided on an adult-only wedding, about 130-150 people, Dress Code: Eclectic/Eccentric Formal Dress (ie, Bohemian, Witchie, Victorian, Steampunk, Medieval, Renaissance, Goth, Punk, etc.). I'm going to be wearing a black ballgown I'm having modded to have a huge multi-ripped-layer hot pink tulle crinoline underside, and have the black dress raised up at the front to a couple of inches to mini-skirt level, so that it flows down in the back and you see nothing but hot pink fluff surrounded by black on the front! I'm wearing my first gift from FI for shoes- 4 inch tall hot pink and black Swear Alternative platform boots, with some kind of elaborate jewelry. It will be over the top and wicked, just the way I like it! ;D FI will be in a custom maded fitted skinny suit. Yeah that's as far as we've gotten, hehe
