I don’t know why but this time my period has been weird…a bit of spotting here and there…I usually get them 3-4 whole days but this time I’ve hardly had any but a few spots, lots of pink and brown and only a couple that were really dark brownish but not really red.
We’ve been trying to TTC for more than 2 years now but have had issues and now that I’ve been diagnosed with PCOs I certainly feel that I cant concieve unless I take some meds. But my period has been convincingly regular for past few months without any meds. I dont know if that means that Im ovulating properly or not.
I don’t want to do a pregnancy test to find out it’s negative again…I’ve had too many of those already.
In the meanwhile I’m just waiting out to see if my period will come…4th day has started already, just a few spots even on third day I got spotting and I thought my period had come but after a few spots, nothing until now!!!
Alot of websites talk about implantation bleeding but I know it’s too good to be true in my case 🙁
Now I’m thinking to wait out til friday which would be my 7th day and see…if this persists maybe it’s time to visit my doctor? Who knows something is wrong with me…
any advice please?

It sounds to me like this is an unusual period. Implantation bleeding usually wouldn’t last so long, and from all accounts I’ve read, is *usually* only one to two drops (I experienced an implantation dip on my BBT chart, but did not have implantation bleeding).
A regular period still doesn’t mean that you are ovulating. Do you use ovulation tests or track BBTs? It seems like that’s in order here. However, I have heard that people with PCOS tend to have several positive ovulation tests in a row (they can be more likely to surge, but it may not mean ovulation), so that may not be entirely accurate.
It sounds like a doctor should be looking into Clomid and possibly Metformin for you. You’re having very unusual symptoms, you’ve been trying for at least 2 years, and you aren’t sure if you’re ovulating.

No I don’t use any ovulation tests because there aren’t available in Pakistan! I tried many times to ask for them in medical stores or pharmacies but they dont have anything like that 🙁
Just to give you a little history. I’ve been on a alot of medication to concieve…Clomid and got several of my cycles monitored by a doctor through TVS to ensure that the eggs were of right size during time of ovulation. I even went on to get my IUI done but the entire process was so nerve racking and exhausting that I decided to give up on my first try after it failed 🙁
Now I’m just on my own and my period has been regular until now. But you are right, I got AF last night…again heart breaking. I know I have to go to a doctor again but I dont want to go through medicines and ultrasounds again! Wish having a baby was easier…considering so many unwanted pregnancies happen, this is far too hilarious 🙂
Thanks for writing back though
