I suffered the better part of the day with a bad gallbladder attack. My husband was so great at making me feel more comfortable through the pain (he’ll do great during childbirth).
But now it’s over… and I’m freaking starving… but I’m scared to eat, don’t know what might set it off so soon after dealing with one.
Anybody have any suggestions? When I try to google for foods, I just get websites to special cleansing diets (apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, etc).

Stay away from greasy foods for sure. I know what you’re going through…. ouch!

Dilute some apple cider vinegar with distilled water, then eat something bland and healthy for you. The less fat or grease the better. Fast food=BAD NEWS.

I don’t want to be the downer here, but… if your GB/bile ducts problems are far enougn along, ANY food can trigger an attack. Greasy or not.
I understand you’re scared, I went through the same exact thing. I was terrified. The only thing that helps? Is getting the gallbladder itself removed.
Get it taken care of as soon as you can 🙂
(This is coming from a girl who is terrified of doctors/hospitals. Honestly, panic attack, heart-rate-through-the-roof terrified. I’m soooo glad I got it removed. The surgery was nothin’!)

Eat something low in fat/grease. I suffered from gall bladder attacks for a year until I got it removed (my doctors refused to believe that it was my gall bladder). Even things that seem healthy with high fat content may trigger it, like avacados, nuts, etc. Good luck!
