That’s crazy!

I used to live in the town in TX where Amber (the girl where they originated Amber Alert) was kidnapped. I didn’t know her but she was only a year or two younger than me.  My friend was riding her bike down the street a week or so before Amber went missing and someone in a truck pulled over and tried to grab her. Luckily a man nearby heard and scared the guy off but I always wondered if it was the same person who kidnapped Amber.

My mom was almost abducted as a young girl. She was only like 7 or 8 at the time.   She was solicited by a man in a car as she was walking back to school, and she was ABOUT to get in (he told her he would take her back to school and it would save her time) but her friend who was walking with her pulled her back and told the guy firmly NO, and then basically told my mom that she should NEVER get into a car with a stranger.   Apparently the indicident stuck in her mind because about a week or two later there were three girls abducted and killed in that area.

Wow!! What a trip!

In the 80’s the Nightstalker murdered in a house right up my street. It was before I lived there, but the people who bought the house after the murder tore it down and built a brand new house on the property. It stood out like a sore thumb, and was pretty creepy.

No ‘close calls’, but I went to high school with the kid that brutally murdered his parents and left their bodies in a tractor bucket on their property. His name is Bryan Kim. I walked by him every day at school.. After learning what he did, I was freaked out to say the least..

My cousin was supposed to be on one of the flights on 9/11. His wife forgot her wallet at home, so they had to go back home and missed that flight. Thank GOD.

@KsoontobeN:

@RenoSweeney24:

@whoa_its_ash:  Yeah and he was SO mad at her when it happened, too. He was supposed to be flying for a job interview and she was just tagging along. I guess he was screaming at her all the way back to their house in the car. An hour or so later, I’m sure he was doing exactly the opposite. So lucky!

My dads sisters all had double letter initials and we live where the alphabet killer took all his victims from. Luckily they were never targeted.

And for a while in the 80s there was a killer who was dumping prostitute bodies by my town. One of the girls actually escaped and banged on my grandparents door and stayed in their house until the cops came. They didn’t chase her because the dogs were barking!

My ex boyfriend’s mom used to live in California and her family lived in the same apartment building as the Hillside Stranglers.
