Hi Bees,

I posted this in the regular board but hopefully the Chicagoland brides could help more :)

Just wondering if anybody has ever attended OR held their wedding at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center? Its fairly new and I have yet to find any reviews about the service and/or vendors they work with. I have already seen the premises and am happy so far with the few times I've met the staff but any first-hand real wedding info would really help!

I was in a wedding that was held at La Mirage nearby and we stayed there. I'm sorry I can't help with the staff - but the place was beautiful and the rooms were amazing. We took a bunch of pictures at the staircase at the entrance and they were great!

I attended a christmas party at the Renaissance this winter. I was wonderful. I can only imagine that a wedding would be fantastic! The food was very good too!

If i could afford it I would have my wedding there for sure!

I was there in October for a massive women's conference (6,000 women!), and I thought it was beautiful. Can't attest to the food because we just had bagged lunches, but there were so many gorgeous rooms, and the staff was really friendly.
