Your ideas sound similar to what I ended up choosing.  Here are my makeup and hair pics.  My hair is kind of up and to the side, so you can see it from the front.  This is a perfect hair style to keep your bangs!  Sorry, no frontal view of my hair.  When my mom took the picture, my dark hair blended into a black background and you couldn’t see it! 🙁

My makeup is not airbrush.  I personally didn’t prefer airbrush.

@loveyoux2:  I feel like before I answer that questoin, I should give you some background on my experience.  I went from one MUA to a totally new one because I had a miserable experience the first time.  My first MUA was a makeup/hair hybrid type deal.  First was my hair.  I wanted to see what it would be like in the picture above.  It turned out so horrible that I almost cried.  It was sloppy and wasn’t even put up. It was just a fuzzy mess on my head.  It looked like I just got out of bed.  For my makeup, she did airbrush.  The airbrush itself did not bother me, but I felt that it made my skin look shiny.  She did my makeup terribly (barely gave my eyebrows any color – they melted into my face) and did my eyes so light it looked like I had no makeup on.  It was absolutely the most terrible experience of this wedding process.  The worst part was I had it planned to get my e-pics immediately after!  So I ended up trashing EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

Anyways.. I didn’t dislike anything about the airbrushing itself.  It felt clean and looked clean.  The only thing was that it made me look a little shiny, where traditional foundation does not.  Though, I cannot tell you whether or not that was caused by the MUA.  I would give airbrush a try though. 🙂

I checked out your board, I really like this one, hair & makeup. I think it would look stunning on you!! The only slight change I would make is maybe move the “up”-do of the hair to a lower side bun, or even a tad lower at the base of the head/neck (if that makes sense).

updo with bangs

@loveyoux2:  For my MOH’s wedding, she had a MUA who did both reg and airbrush makeup. I got mine done first (airbrush) and LOVED it!! gave me a perfect complexion, the color matched perfectly, I absolutely loved it. When it was the brides turn, she HATED the airbrush makeup! (Disclaimer- she was on her period, hated everything on the wedding day, and didnt do a trial. craycray!!) lol Anyways, she thought it made her look dirty. She has always fought with acne, and shes half mexican so shes pretty dark complected. It just didnt work well with her skin. I think everyone’s skin reacts differently. So YAY that you’re doing a trial & wont have to do your makeup completely over on the wedding day (and hurt the poor MUA’s feelings in the process!) Here’s a pic of me w the airbrush makeup for reference. (foundation was the only thing we got airbrushed. eyeshadows & blush were powders) I didnt get any pics of her with it lol

‘relaxed glamour’ and your pic makes me think that your ‘do should sit lower in the neck rather than higher and that some winged liner / very elegant, not overdone cat eye would be really beautiful on you. Keep the rest simple – If I were you (I’m really opinionated on makeup!) I’d ask specifically for contouring, highlighting and some good brow attention (though any good MUA will do all this for bridal makeup – again, I’d be type A enough to mention these things haha). Brows really make a huge difference so make sure you love the way he/she does them!

Gold would look great on your eyes!
