Ooooo...I plan to do this too and I'm not sure what book to buy/use either.
I know what you could use but i dont know what its called... sorry. LOL
you could maybe use a chipboard album? it's kindda like wooden-ish pages... ? LOL
sorry i'm not much help.... when i get home i'll see if i have anything to scan and show you :)
Ooh, that's a tough one. Why not just pull the pages out? Or another option might be for you to make a digital scrapbook and then have it printed at blurb or wherever!
Remember to check that all your adhesives, photo paper/ink, paper, bindings and embellishments are acid free if you do it! You want your wedding memories to last a lifetime :) I work in archives and lets just say the cheap glue that says acid-free... isn't really. Go for minimal gluing, like glue dots or something.
@labor...good points! and I agree with using glue dots because the ones that arn't really acid free will look great at first but give you tons of hassel later and just won't hold up 40 years down the road when you want to show your grandkids :)
Can you leave pages out and later put them in a scrapbook with protective pages? or, one time at Christmas Tree Shop, I found scrapbook with just white pages- no protectors. They are harder to find, but they are around.
You could buy a big pack of scrapbook paper. I personally like the black paper. Then you can just put the paper into the protector sheets inside an album when you're done or put it in a regular scrapbook album that you can get at a craft store like Michaels.
Thanks for the suggestions! I figured out that I need something called a "strap hinge" album which lays flat and allows the page protectors to be slipped on from the side after-the-fact. Westrim makes one but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm buying one from Creative Memories. It's pricey but a LOT cheaper than the Polaroid guestbook we were planning on before, so we're actually saving money.

I want to make a scrapbook for our guestbook. I want it all ready and put together so the guests can sign the pages around the photos. I don't want to use the page protectors because I think it will create a lot of hassle.
What kind of scrapbook album should I look for, for this purpose?
