If you bought it from a Kate Spade store, you can take it back and they can probably buff them out.

@kimbean: I was going to suggest the same thing. If you bought it elsewhere, try calling the company (Kate Spade) directly and seeing if they know of a way to fix it

If it was a gift, I would just go to the nearest store and ask them to help you. They might charge you since you didnt buy it from them, but at least you will be able to get the scratches out. How sad! I hate when purse hardware gets all crapped up.

If you don’t know where it came from, it might not be authentic.  Not saying that’s true or that whoever bought it knew.  But a high-end bag should not be scratched up like that so soon.  That’s why I suspect inferior quality.  Or it could just be a Kate Spade of inferior quality.

Either way, take it to a store that sells Kate Spade and see if they can authenticate it and maybe suggest a way to get the scratches out.
