- Wedding: September 2014
Just to get this out of the way now… last month the wedding had been cancelled due to our financial issues but now if is officially back on now that Fiance is up on his feet and we can afford this again. My mother is also chipping in a bit to take the financial burden off. Our budget is limited to only $5000 for 50 people so hopefully I can do this!
Last week I ordered the invitations with custom envelopes from vistaprint (my mother wanted them and was paying so she went all out with them), well last night I was writing out our return address on the envelopes in printing but then for the RSVP envelopes I decided to write out my name and address in cursive – big mistake. I guess I was in a zone because when I looked at them they were a hot mess!
It isn’t that bad that you cannot read them but you can clearly tell I am not accustomed to writing like that on a day to day basis. Some of the letters are very sloppy in the beginning (such as my capital N for the postal code!) and there are maybe half that are acceptable enough for me to not cringe!
I am unsure what to do. I think that it shouldn’t be that big of deal to have them look a bit sloppy but at the same time I want to redo them. But to redo them I’d either need to put a while label over the text to re-write (the background is a cream in the address section) or order new invitation envelopes for them which will be about $25…
