Wow...I can't believe that happened. I've heard about the place before, but I'm glad I wasn't able to make it there.
For the dress it was so last minute that I ended up having to go to Macy's and found a dress that somewhat matched the other bridesmaids. The whole situation stunk, especially since even the owner of the store Maria will not return my calls. I am still hoping for a refund and have filed a complaint with my credit card company, the better business bureau and will go to small claims court if need be. Crossing my fingers and in the mean time want to make sure that others do not find themselves in this situation.

I had a HORRIBLE experience there myself...the staff was totally incompetent... my sister and I ran out of there!

Thanks for the warning. I had an experience there however, I am thankful that I didn't end up with a similar outcome. MY FH lives nearby and I wanted a Maggie dress so I went there. Unfortunately (or now fortunately now) they didn't have the style I wanted. I asked if they could have the sample shipped in so I could try it on. They told me the dress was discountinued and I would have to try on others if I wanted a Maggie.
Being determined to find that dress, I called Tour of Elegance in Rancho Bernardo which is very close to me. To my pleasure and surprise the owner told me they didn't have it in the store but would have it shipped in a few days.
The dress has now been ordered! It is not discountinued. They lied.
Poor service from Bridal Showcase in Vista!

Please, please do not purchase your dress from Bridal Showcase in Vista (North county SD) I am writing this review in hopes that what happened to me will not happen to anyone else. I went in looking for a bridesmaid dress in which I was the maid of honor. The salesperson took my full payment , ordered the dress and let me know she would call me when it was in. Three weeks before the wedding I began to call the shop to find out when the dress would be in. I was promised that the dress would be in on time and repeatedly reassured that it would. When it came down to a week before the wedding they said that they would have the dress overnighted from the manufacturer - that never happened. WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS BEFORE THE WEDDING I NEEDED TO GO DRESS SHOPPING AT THE MALL TO FIND A DRESS!! Worse yet, Bridal Showcase will not provide me with a refund because they said that dresses are not guaranteed to arrive in time. Nor, will they return my calls. For more information on Bridal Showcase visit the Better Business Bureau www.bbb.org and search for Bridal Showcase. They have received an F rating the lowest there is. I wish i would have had this information and am passing it along to you in the spirit that it won't happen to anyone else.
