(Closed) Seafood boil / Low Country Boil – too casual??

What is a seafood boil? Like a clambake?

They are messy! but sooo yummy and fun! We do them for birthdays every now and then. we will do shrimp, sausage, potatos – corn on the cob.

I guess it depends on how causual you want to be – i would worry about getting stuff on my clothes but thats because we usually just do long tables with newspaper, dump it straight on the table and everyone chows down.

You could essentially do the same thing buffet style with plates and utensils – but it kind of takes the fun out of it haha.

thats just my 2 cents.

I’m from South Carolina, and people serve this at even really fancy weddings down here. I think it sounds great!

It can be messy but not as messy as it seems.  I’ve never made a serious mess eating it.  I love low country boil!  I think it would be awesome!
