FutureMrsLawlis:  I would imagine that size with that finish will be extremely hard to locate.  Just collect tall candlestick holders as you find them (craft stores and garage sales) then paint them all with nickel finish spray paint.  Also, I personally have never seen a 40″ candlestick holder.  With the candle they’ll be over 4′ tall while on top of a table…

I agree–definitely hard to find. If you’re absolutely dead-set on having them, go to antique shops and flea markets, which are probably your best bet.

FutureMrsLawlis:  I’ve made it my mission to find something this afternoon since my office is basically empty…

Does it have to tapers?  What about a pillar?  http://www.save-on-crafts.com/candleholder13.html  Or, you could probably add a taper holder to the top of this.

These are the tallest candlesticks I found and they’d need to be painted still.  http://www.save-on-crafts.com/crystal-candlesticks-19.html

Have you looked into rentals?  My local place (American party place) seems to carry some pretty tall ones for rent.  They’re meant to be part of a floor unity set but don’t see why it couldn’t sit on a table.

Still looking….
