We are currently searching for a photographer, so I thought I'd see if you all have any recommendaitons.
We are getting married in Cooperstown, so we are looking at photographers based out of Albany, Syracuse and anywhere in between. We are hoping to keep day-of shooting costs to about $2,500 or so (wth albums and whatnot being extra), so someone who is just starting out but who has good potential would be great for us.
If you have any photographers you suggest we check out please let me know. Thanks very much!
We are using Suzanne Kawola of Play of Light in Latham, NY (just outside Albany) I think her prices are pretty reasonable and her packages include an 8 hr day. Plus, she has a formal education in photography which I think makes a big difference.

We loved our photographer, her prices are great and she was so wonderful to work with. She was with me for getting ready shots and stayed thru the entire wedding. Our guest commented many times about hosw many pics they saw her taking.

marylour caprerra was our photographer and she was amazingggg. i loved her. her photos are amazing and she is very reasonable!! check her out, you wont be disappointed!! :)
My photographer is Louis Torres. Very friendly, out of the way, and awesome to work with. He has some experience under his belt but his prices are in a very decent range right now, i'm assuming to build his portfolio.

Great guy and an amazing eye for a picture. He is based in NY city, not sure if he'll travel but his rates are great.
