FutureMrsJRC:  Hi – my ER is a 2mm plain platinum band with .7 diamond solitaire. my WR is a 2.2mm channel set eternity ring with 13 stones. (just over a 1/3 eternity)

i looked at a plain band for my WR but non of them looked right. i thought the 2mm band got ‘lost’ under my stone and any thicker looked uneven. i tried the eternity ring on and felt it really enhanced my solitaire.

I say go for the eternity band. I got one And I love it with my ring But sounds like your ring can go with anything. This is what I got…

I have a little over one carat princess cut.

And congrats. 🙂

I have 2 half eternity bands, each 2mm. My engagement ring is a 8mm x 8mm, about 3 carat equivalent,  london blue topaz with 2 rows of diamonds on each side roughly 3 mm. I don’t know the carats of the diamonds.

FutureMrsJRC:  I got them at Jareds. One came with my engagement setting and we had the other made to match. The individual band cost was $600. Not bad in my opinion.

I’m loving this thread – I’m also on the hunt for a wedding band, and I can’t seem to make up my mind! Keep ’em coming ladies! 🙂

My favorite part about a plain band is that it never has to leave my finger. Plus it is so classic in its good looks. I have a 2.1 mm band on my ering and I paired it with a milgrain band only slightly wider.
