Thanks for that input! I never think about Sears and we have one right up the street. My guy is a 10 and a half but has some wide feet so he always has problems finding comfy shoes. He's actually found some at DSW, but like you said, it's very hit-or-miss.

We spend today shopping for shoes to go with FI's suit. We had looked at the place where we got the suit (small selection!); plus the places I like to shop: Macy's, Dillards, DSW... all had spotty selection and at the department stores we had trouble getting an associate to get shoes for him to try on.
In the end, on a whim, I suggested we go to Sears. They had tons of shoes for men and they were all sitting out for him to try on, plus we had an associate offering to look for additional sizes in the store room. He got two pairs of really nice shoes from some brand I'd not heard of, but he says they're really comfy.
Just wanted to share the positive experience in case anyone else is having trouble helping their men find shoes!
