Good afternoon Bees! I have started my DIY reception projects but have already ran into one tiny issue. Our theme is Beach Wedding/Reception. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Daisies. I really want my bouqet to be daisies and I want to have some tiny ones clipped in my hair instead of a veil. My question now is how do I bring these two together??? I found a pic for a poster of seashells and daisies but I’m not really getting any ideas on how to blend the two. I have attached pics of the poster I found and a pic showing what my centerpieces will look like. HELP!!!???!!!

I think seashells and daisies go well together. they are both simply and elgantly casual.
You could add a seashell or starfish charm or brooch to your bouquet
http://www.zazzle.com has this beautiful shower invitation
a wedding cake with seashells and daisies would be beautiful
You can mix the daisies and shells or just have the daisies on the top.

I had a beach wedding and used gerbera daisies – they looked great! I didn’t use shells, but brightly colored starfish instead. Here are a few photos. DIY Centerpieces:

I would suggest your centerpiece to be set up like a fish aquarium display. Using a hurricane would be tricky but I wouldn’t fill it a whole lot. Use a noticeable but thin layer of sand on the bottom, place shells in a layer on top of that (may want to get some big ones and some starfish etc.) Then have your daisy’s in different heights standing upright in the sand. Because its hurricane glass they shouldn’t go over the top of the vase. Maybe put the candles directly on the table. If you are using white daisies only, you can incorporate color using colored sand, painted shells, or colored candles.
Hope that helps–good luck
