Our wedding is Oct 6 it’s at the very begining of fall and outside. My problem is that the colors I like and the way things are coming together it seems like it is more geared toward summer. Coral grey and orange, painted wine bottles. It is 50’s inspried. I guess my question is – is it appropriate to use that as a “theme” for the first weekend in Oct?

Who cares what the season is, if you like it than go for it. There is no law that says you can’t use that theme in the fall.

Go for it. Season doesn’t matter. The only thing that might be odd would be a winter wonderland themed weding in the summer. But I guess it could be Christmas in July!

Not to make light of your worry, but ummm I think you can do whatever damn decor you want no matter the month or season!! Your colors and theme should represent YOU.

@bocajnitsua15: I think those colors actually are geared towards Fall, but to answer your question, no. Just because it is October there is no law that means it has to be Fall in your wedding. You could use any colors you wanted to, and as long as the day embodies you and your FI, I think it will be perfect.
