Here is a site with a short list of flowers in season during the summer:
http://weddings.lovetoknow.com/wiki/Summer_Wedding_Flower_Ideas
And here is a month by month guide:
Nancy Chiu did a great flowers by month guide in pro. You should definitely check it out!
Here's another resource, searchable by month and color:

You can go even further in your seasonal search and look for flowers that are locally grown! That'll save you even more money, and will reduce the carbon footprint of your wedding, as you won't be shipping in product from overseas.
For July and August, here's a list of some of the locally-grown flowers that are in season in July/August in the Midwest:
Sunflowers, delphinium, Annabelle and PeeGee hydrangea, gladiolus, zinnias, lilies, sanpdragons, asclepias, and astilbe.
Good luck!
mrs DG, I just searched for her name, but nothing came up. Could you link to her article in Pro? thanks!!

Anybody know of a good website with flowers in season by month? Or, better yet, any experts on here with what flowers are in season in July/August? Thanks Bees :)
