okay, trying to find a resource which will help me pinpoint which flowers are in season in portland at the end of august, any ideas??? i was thinking chamomile flowers, they’re SO pretty, and i think in season in the summer, since they’re herbs, i think they would hold up well in the heat, just wanted to know if anybody has found a resource that quotes seasonal regional flowers, ’cause as we all probably already know, the word wedding=$$$$ to any vendor

I’d love to know the answer to this question, too!
I’ve called several vendors at the farmers market, and the prevailing "in season" flower is the dahlia. That can be nice, but I’ve heard ranunculus are also in season (I just don’t know the availability). Let me know if you find anything more out!

I would call a florist. Geranium lake in portland has answered a few of my questions no strings attached! Also I just found a lady at Quince flowers who seems super nice!
