I seriously don’t know what i would do without these boards 🙂 We are going to have approx. 100 guests. We would like to do assigned tables (10 per table) but not assigned seating at each table. I figure i need table numbers, escort cards and something to indicate to our guests which table they have been assigned to. Does anyone have an pics of what they have used? The table numbers and escort cards will be pretty easy but i am kind of at a loss on the table directory thing-a-ma-jig. Thank you!!!
Ps…our colors are black and silver. No theme.

I’m not sure what you mean by table directory? We had out 100 escort cards on a board with their names and table number, and then they just went to their table. There was no “map” of the ballroom.

@rdevaney: You can indicate the table number on the escort cards- that’s what they are for.
An alternative is to use a seating chart.
If you use table numbers and the numbers are used in a logical manner around the room, you don’t need a directory or layout of the room.
If you use table names or pics, it is sometimes helpful to add the layout to the seating chart.

I’ve seen a seating chart in a picture frame on the Bee before, I thought it was a neat idea that I want to do for my wedding. Here is a picture someone on the Bee did for their wedding.

We just put the table number right on the card with their name.

Thank you everyone! I guess i was making it more complicated than it needs to be. I like the idea of putting the table number directly on the cards 🙂
