Excel really worked well for me and the billion times I rearranged certain tables ;)
martha stewart has a really good one! her website takes a long time to load for me though.
I just used excel. I looked at a bunch of the fancy ones but in the end excel was WAAAY easier. I didn't need to put them in a circular fashion - just a list. 8 at each table in little columns across the sheet. It was way easier to cut/paste/move them a million times on excel than anything else. It's not pretty in colors and little ruffles or circular tables with acutal chairs on the diagram. but it works. and with google docs you can see/update it anywhere!
I too was really happy with just using excel. But I know Martha Stewart has a tool.
I used a seating chart I found here:http://www.weddingvic.com/ and it worked just fine. It was enormous when I first downloaded so I removed all the sheets I didn't need from it.

What is the best tool you've used to create your seating chart? I'm assinging tables and I'm curious if there is a better tool than Excel.
