Our Wedding is going to be set up as pictured below with Long wide tables. Me and My fiance will sit on one end together, my questions is how to do a seating plan for this type of set up? Each table will have about (4) centerpieces with lighting in between. Should I put table numbers at each centerpiece with the guest names on it, then put a name card on their plate with their names or just let them sit where they please at that particular section? Also I was thinking maybe putting their name with table # on their escort card with left side/ Right side to help them figure it out? I have had the hardest time tring to invision how it would work! I need the best way i can orgainze this without having my guest play ring around the table trying to find their place…

I like the way it’s set up in the picture, with multiple numbers per table, and then you can put a card with the guest’s name at their place. I’m sure people won’t mind having to walk around to the other side of the table.

We are doing this set-up as well! I’m still trying to figure out how we will do ours, but I have been to a wedding that had the long tables and they printed out numbers and ribbon tied them to the back of each chair. Then the escort cards had a number next to the name where the table number would have gone. It was in numeric order so it was super easy to find your seat. Depending on how long your tables are, it might be kind of difficult to have guests walking up and down each place setting looking for their name.

I really like the idea of tags on the back of the chairs, but I think the guests would still appreciate a seating chart
Here’s one example where they just had people’s names printed where they were to sit
