I love the idea of doing one large seating chart at the entrance to the reception, as opposed to individual seating cards. I need a little help, though… if we offer guests a choice of entree, how do we designate who receives what if we don’t have individual cards?
I know in theory we could have the servers ask each guest for their entree selection, but I’ve heard that can lengthen dinner service AND make the meal more expensive as you end up buying more food because people don’t remember what they ordered (if that makes sense).
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
