Are you doing a seating chart? Are you making it yourself or are you having it made? Do you have a template I could use?! I would really like to make my own, but I'm not very talented when it comes to formatting... actually I SUCK! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

I did ours - the way we presented it was on a magnet board and the escort cards were magnets, so I took the final RSVP yes list, made the magnets, and literally scooted the magnets around to "tables" until it made sense.  Very rudimentary, but it worked for our (small) wedding!!

    Thanks leelee :)

When she wrote out the names how did she did it for engaged/unmarried couples? Would it be:

Mr. Ryan Smith & Sarah Gray...................8

or would I put them seperately? Ryan under the S and Sarah under the G?

Also, what about people with children? Does it look weird to put

    Mrs. Jennifer Doe and children.................8

I really like your magnet idea krissy :)

I ended up doing my own seating chart.  I did place cards for each guest with the table assignment written on it.

I just simply made a list with each table number and then numbered it 1-10 (the amount the table could seat).  Then I went through the RSVP's and made another list of all the guests that were attending.  I then used a highlighter and crossed off each guest as I placed them at a table and wrote (in pencil) the table number next to their name.  I did this until everyone was placed at a table then I just double checked it to make sure I didn't miss anyone or sat someone away from their family and friends.

Then I made the place cards with the guest's table numbers. I organized them in alphabetical order on the table as you entered the reception room.  (so guests that were seated together but last names were different - it was all alphabetical so it was simple to find each person's card)

I hope that made sense..  Good luck!

    P.S I love that Magnet idea!!! :)
