Going to Jamaica to get married then home to host a cocktail style reception. Our problem now s seating for the hall. Well it isn’t a majore problem cause we have some time, but we are starting the process now.
We don’t want folks to walk into reception hall to see a bunch of dinner tables, because it is COCKTAILS only.We want to incorporate couches and coffee tables to create a lounge type space. The focus is on the PARTY! So we need to figure out how much seating to provide. We will have some tables and chairs and couches too. We are planning to have 300 people there….
so do we provide seating for 200 of them? or 150 of them? My fiance is staying a certain percentage which only gives like seating for 85. Which I think is insane. He says that the main aspect is the party and the room will be filled with people. I on the other hand see it a bit differently….
I don’t want an empty room and want people to have options to sit but not enough seating for EACH person….lol
