Starting to put together some names to check out for day of hair and make up. I am not sure what I should be expecting budget-wise in the Seattle area for these services??? Any thoughts or suggestions would be helplful.

If you have any friends in the area. I would DEFINATELY see about getting some trials done by stylists that have been recommended to you. Prices can be varied. Anywhere from $250.00 per hour (plus travel) to $50 a person (plus travel).

We are going with Salon Maison for both hair and makeup and they are traveling to us. They also came to me for my trial. I can’t say enough nice things about them. The girl that came and did my trial really listened to what I wanted and took the pictures that I showed her into consideration when she was doing my hair. I think she did an awesome job. When they come on the day, they are sending that girl to do my hair and makeup and another girl to do my girls makeup, at no additional charge. We are paying just under $500.00 for my trial and the day of, including travel. When they come to you for the trial, they will stay and redo as many times as you want them to to get the look that you want. My girl was spot on, so I didn’t have to have her redo anything.
EDIT: I forgot to write. This price is for myself and two girls.

When I first started looking at prices, I had no idea either. However, in the end, I knew that an extra $100 or so was worth knowing that my hair and makeup looked perfect since I’m paying so much for photography and videography so I chose on the more expensive side.
I am paying $180 for my hair trial and day-of and $150 for my make-up trial and day-of so $330 altogether. That includes application of false eyelashes and airbrush make up. Bridesmaids and moms are $95 per. I am going with Angalina Sandoval. I chose her based on her portfolio and great reviews. She does amazing hair! Plus, she is super nice. She is coming to our hotel suite early in the morning along with her makeup person since we have a 2 p.m. ceremony start. My trial isn’t until June.
I’ve also heard really good things about iloveblush.com.

I went to Habitude at the Locks. It was $60 for the hair trial and $75 for the day of. My BM’s were $60 or $40 depending on up do vs. blow out. I didn’t use them for makeup so I can’t help you out there. That doesn’t include tip.

There is a really darling place downtown called Swink Style Bar. They are great. I didn’t use them for my wedding bc I didn’t know about them and already booked someone. I had them do my hair & my mom’s for my rehearsal dinner and we LOVED what they did.
For my wedding day I had Tiffany Lowry, she did me + 7 bridemaids + 2 moms. She came to Hotel Alexis and I was really happy with all her work

300 is pretty typical for the bride (hair+make-up and trial)
I had a trial at Swink, and although they are so experienced–I wasn’t all that impressed
