these shoes are adorable, but you definitely need to be comfortable! Can you wear these for the ceremony and for pictures, and then change into something more comfortable?
those shoes are really pretty!!!! well...it all depends on you..if u are the kinda of girl that wears high heel all the time, also to go to the gym lol, and you are comfortable in it then you should be ok... me, for example, i am not used to high heels anymore so i got a 2 1/2 heel and comfy shoes cause im planning to wear it all day... but if u have the feeling that u might have some issues than get an extra comfotable pair for later
I ended up going with a 2.5" heel. I wear something that height all the time, and I'm comfortable in them. I applaud all the girls going for 4" or more.. but I couldn't make it thru the ceremony in those.. I'm happy with my choice.. I want to enjoy the day, not keep thinking about my feet hurting.
The only solution I could suggest is finding a "clog" or "wedge" with about the same height to toss on if your feet get sore.. then no dress dragging problem either. Good luck.
I am not worried about the ceremony, but rest of the night. I have been having trouble finding a 'second' pair that I like with the same height.
I think no matter what shoes you wear your feet will hurt. You will be standing on your feet most of the day so there is no way to avoid it. I have found it helpful to add pads in the shoes to cushion the ball of the foot. You can add heel pads, or even pads to fit the whole shoe. I think we forget sometimes that we can customize the shoe make it more comfortable. I now do it for all my shoes.
The shoes are gorgeous by the way!! Good luck!
Those are cute. You can always have some flats on hand, just in case.
my feet started hurting after my ceremony. i had trouble walking around for pictures. luckily we didn't even have dancing at the wedding, but if we did, i would have been miserable. i ended up having a back up pair anyway, actually just in case i wanted to put on a pair of tights because we were outside and i thought i might be too cold, so i put those on. i'm still glad i had my pretty shoes though, so i vote wear those and have a pair of flats for the reception.
Definitely have a pair of flats on hand, not to the fitting, but the wedding. I love heels but I can't wear them all night. So I'll wear them during the ceremony and all of the formalities at the reception. As soon as that's done I'm kicking them off and wearing flats, by that point I won't care if my dress is dragging on the ground too much.
I found 3"heels but I will definately search for a cute back up pair. If you won't use it you won't lose anyting, but when your feet are killing you and you don't have back up shoes you will be sorry!
Oh these arepretty! Maybe you can have a back up pair so after the ceremony, pics, and important parts of the reception you can switch
I have the exact same ones in black that I wore for my sister's wedding as her MOH! I love them, but I will warn you, my feet KILLED me by the time the ceremony was even starting from walking around to do all the photos. By the time I got to the reception I was in pink flip flops. I would highly suggest a little padding thing for the ball of your foot area or you will be most likely in pain if you aren't used to wearing those type of heels like I am. I'm looking for a 2.5" heel for my dress.
I am wearing heels for the ceremony and pictures, but then it's probab;y going to be flats all the way, except maybe the first dance because FI is like 7 inches taller than me, so I might need them then, but if I were you I would just by a cheap pair of flats that are white or whatever color your dress is, and wear them if your feet start to hurt. you can hide your shoes under the table if they have table clothes on them too. That is what I am going to do. =]

I had my first dress fitting with my shoes that have 3 1/4 inch heals. I am starting to have second thoughts on my shoe choice. Am I going to be comfortable, should I have a back up pair if my feet hurt...I am not sure what to do.
