Is that dress by Mikaella?! I almost bought the same dress! It's gorgeous, and it looks stunning on you!
The only reason I didn't purchase was because it's being discontinued this month, and the sample was waaaaaaaay too big to be taken in without changing the dress. Also, I didn't want to pay $1,300 for a new dress that was being discontinued...ya know?
But I still think the dress is beautiful, and I think you look great!
Yes it is Mikaella...i ordered a watters beaded sash for the ceremony and was going to change to the sash for the reception...my mom does not seem crazy about it since it is so plain...but this was the only one that I actually thought looked good in pictures and felt like me...she is now offering to take me back out. My wedding is Jan 7!
Just for the record, it looks amazing on you. Really. Yes, it's plain, in a very elegant sort of way, which makes it beautiful. The shape and color are very sophisticated. Really lovely on you!
Idea: woud an elegant little shrug or jacket or wrap (maybe in a fake fur since you're marrying in January) make it better for you? Something in lace with some bling? I just adore the beee-oooo-tiful shrugs out there. I saw a few on Etsy that are stunning, but I bet the bridal shop can assist with that too.
Thanks everyone for all the kind words..I am hoping mom comes around:) I just dont think emotionally I could handle changing dresses at this point.

I think the dress is stunning and I love it on you. I love the look of that dress but I never could never find one that I really loved.
I really like the dress in the picture. I think that it is normal to second guess huge decsions like that but I would think on it before you do anything drastic... like buy a new dress. :)
I am doing the same thing right now! I just cancelled mine yesterday. I was actually very confused this morning as to whether or not I did the right thing. After thinking it over, I know I did the right thing. Everyone says that when you get the right dress you will know it. If you are having second thoughts it may be better to cancel the order until you are positive it's the one. That way you aren't out your money. They told me that I could cancel and re-order the same dress, if it's what I wanted, in a week. I was told it happens all of the time and nobody would think anything bad about my decisions. The dress looks beautiful on you! Good luck.
wow, i love the fit of that dress!! i would just add a sparkly sash and accessorize with pretty earrings/necklace.
the dress looks very fitting and very well made
suggestion: if you want to glam it up, consider buying a more sparkly ribbon sash with rhinestone. i think you will look great with a more decorative dress with the way you look.
Thanks everyone! I went back today and tried it on (and some others) and I loved it more the second time around...can not wait for it to come in my size:) regrets no more!

I love your dress! I think the silhouette is modern, but that it is done in a very elegant and timeless way.
You look amazing in that dress! I think the sashes really add a lot to it and it doesn't look too plain at all.

Anytime I'm not wearing my dress, I think to myself ''did I pick the wrong one?'' but then I try it on and I love it all over again! If you feel good when you're in it, that's all that matters.
Glad you fell back in love after trying it on again as it really suits you, looks great. As Mom2MemphisAndRuby said, which I think is an excellent point it's easy to doubt it when you're not seeing it or wearing it.

Oh I think it just looks absolutely gorgeous. It shows off your shape and it really looks great. This was actually the style of dress I fell in love with but I just can't pull it off. Congrats! :)

I purchased a dress and I am feeling unsure about everything...style, size I ordered...I am going to try it on again tomorrow (sample) and then decide if I am going to buy another...any opinions? thanks!
