@Deezyf:  Please do not worry at all or second guess yourself about that dress. It is GORGEOUS, and it looks SO BEAUTIFUL on you! You chose a dress that is extremely flattering to your figure and fits you perfectly!

I love it!

I am assuming there is crinoline or maybe a hoop under the dress. If your feeling that it has bit too much volume, maybe take out some layers out from under the dress.

Personaly though, I think you look AMAZING! Smile

I agree with the others, it’s beautiful!!! Your wedding is the one day you get to be over the top so I would go for it! But it’s about YOU so if you aren’t happy with it then maybe consider something else?  It sounds like you made your original decision based on what others think so don’t let us do the same thing to you haha If I were you, I would absolutely keep it, you look gorgeous in it!

I think it’s perfect! I also don’t think it’s that poofy (for a wedding dress). You look amazing and the dress is gorgeous!!

I’m very against letting the venue dictate dress decision.  I’m getting married in the woods and was totally going to go with the poofy dress regardless – you only get one chance to do that right?  The only reason I didn’t was because a poofy dress did not flatter me, as it does you.  You look great, don’t worry.

I think you look amazing in the dress! Also, as other bees said, don’t worry at all about it being too poofy for a restaurant reception. I also had a restaurant reception and wore a big dress with a long train (I can share a photo if you want). Honestly, it wasn’t an issue at all. The only thing was when we left, a number of the restaurant’s patrons didn’t realize a wedding reception was happening in the back room. It was funny hearing them whisper, “Oh look! She’s in a wedding dress” or say congratulations to me as I walked out the door.
