The dress I bought arrived in the right size today and I went to try it on….
now at home having second thoughts.
is it too girly with all the ruffles? We are having a small rustic wedding and I originally wanted simple/vintage, however loved this when I put it on.
Do you think I’ll be able to tie this into a relaxed wedding?
oh and any shoe advice would be great, our colours are peach and mint, but having the same problem I did with dresses, everything has too much bling.
Just having that bit of doubt. Sorry I can’t flip photo

Its so pretty! And fits your theme and looks great on you!
I always have the view of when its your wedding you can never be too over dressed even if its relaxed, your the bride!

Oh my goodness that is a beautiful dress! You look great! No need for regrets! Definitely go with shoes that have a pop of color.

Thanks for the reassurance girls.
Guess it was just that when I decided to go dress shopping I never imagined myself in something like this.

Ok I put a other dress on hold because I’m still not 100%. I see all these pretty bling dresses on here and just wonder whether mine is too plain…I never really wanted bling, but I don’t want to look unfinished or boring 🙁

Good God no, do not get a dress with bling.I think your dress is perfect for your theme, and if you were to trade it out for something more glam your original vision might be lost. Love the ruffles (because mine has ruffles too) and holla, you share some of my wedding colors! I also agree about a colored ribbon to tie at the bodice.
